The people behind the need.
Why every venture exists, in the words of the people it’s for. For now these are honestly illustrative — the kind of need we’re built to meet.
These are illustrative stories. Until real beneficiaries are named with their permission, they represent the kinds of needs the Foundation exists to meet — not named individuals. As real work ships, real stories will replace them. (Daniel’s testimony below is his own, shared with permission.)
“We poured everything into the people and had nothing left for a website. A church our size shouldn’t look invisible online — but we could never have paid for the alternative.”
One roof, many needs.
“For more than twenty years I was in the dark — and the whole time He was there. From Darkness to Light is just me telling the truth about it. The songs were never mine to keep; they belong to the Church.”
“I took the children in because no one else would. I’d do it again tomorrow. What I needed wasn’t pity — it was someone standing with me so the home could keep running.”
“I’ve knitted for the shelter for years. I’d make twice as much if I didn’t have to pay for the wool myself.”
“We’re already feeding people every week. We don’t need another organisation — we need the resources to reach a few streets further.”
Marked illustrative in honesty — these portray the kind of person and need each venture is built for, not named beneficiaries. As real work ships, real stories will replace them.
Know a story we should be telling?
A church, a carer, a maker, a ministry — if there’s a need the Foundation should meet, tell us. If it serves the Church and the gospel, it belongs under this roof.
